Empowering teachers and students for group work success
is the phase where groups create a team culture
and shared expectations.
This eLearning course gives your group common language to describe the process of collaboration, allowing you to better set norms and minimize unproductive conflict.
This activity is designed for three purposes: (1) To help students identify and share disruptive behavior in previous group work situations, (2) To encourage reflection on their own skills and contributions, and (3) To scaffold the conversation about conflict while setting group norms and expectations
I Want / I Offer
This activity uses reflection as a tool to scaffold these forming conversations while also asking students to be introspective about their own strengths and where they could use additional support.
